Robert defines his practice through compassion. During his time studying at the Colorado School of Healing Arts (CSHA), Robert was active in experiencing his own healing processes, and applies this continuing insight to his private practice. He has recently been awarded the Student of the Year award from the Colorado Association of Colleges and Schools and the Denver Post. Robert was a Teacher Assistant for two quarters at CSHA, teaching deep tissue massage and myo-fascial release and uses his teaching experience to educate his clients about what may be happening in their bodies and to explain the work he may be doing. While his first passion is working with athletes, finding athletic solutions for all of his clients is a priority. We are all active people, even working at a desk requires muscular integrity, and when the muscular function becomes impaired or inhibited, Robert combines a variety of massage techniques to provide a custom integrative massage experience. As well, Robert will engage the client in active stretching techniques or exercises to assist in reprogramming muscles to keep the body functioning well. Robert specializes in Neuromuscular techniques, Triggerpoint Therapy, deep tissue massage, Muscle-Energy Techniques and facilitated stretching.
